This is a wonderful product! Its appearance is higher tech but it is extremely effortless to use. You just set the temp and time frame regulates and let it do the work! The nonstick surface helps make clean-up a breeze. The Cuisinart may everything for you so there's no odd guesswork. I can easily throw my substances in, set the timer, and get work out..... It has a warmer functionality so I don't feel hurried. It can prepare food at lower pressure or higher pressure and also has a simmer function. If you need to do a quick release, you can do that by hand.

This particular pressure cooker worked really very well right out of the box. After putting together the several parts (easy), I was ready to cook an good old family recipe for soup which my dad can make with his 6-QT Presto Cooker. The timing for the recipe was correct and translated properly with the Cuisinart. I also tried out a Short Ribs recipe and it also came up out great. The recipes provided with the cooker sound delicious and I look forward to trying a few of them.

This appliance has made preparing time all but get away. Stew in much less than 1 hour, corned beef in 82 min., frozen fish to done 10 min, spag sauce, soups, chili, risotto, penne noodle recipe's, wild rice, etc....in under 20 min. This is the excellent option for working folks who want to enjoy healthier home-cooked meals that are prepared with little energy or a lot time period in the cooking area.

I really like this electric pressure cooker. It's great for medium size meal. It operates just like it is supposed to. I've had different ones in the past and like this one the best. It's very versatile in the various cooking techniques. I would definitely advise it. This equipment really saves a bunch of time cooking and preparing a meal.
